Lando Norris claimed his first podium of the season at the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DELL'EMILIA ROMAGNA 2022.
Building on his podium finish at last year's race, Norris claimed P3 after an excellent drive in the McLaren F1 car. Norris started the race in P5 after a good display in the sprint race and went up to third after a brilliant start, overtaking Leclerc. The Ferrari managed to win back the podium position on lap 8 but the pressure from Norris had its effect on Leclerc who spun off the track with ten laps to go. The British driver raced past to claim his first podium of 2022.
